PROTECTOR SADDLEPADS have 6 front and 4 rear 1/4" Felt balance shims. The shims are not to be moved around to "PLAY SADDLEFITTING", {a 200 yr. old losers game}. They work like wedges under a rocking chair. The four 1/10th inch thick Polymer shields are molded to a basic horse shape, then Slotted to SHAPE to your horse when RIDING, following his movement while evenly distributing tree pressures. The front 1/4" shims are used for balancing you, the rider. Access for shims is at the top center opening of the Pad. Just try them in one session to see how many FRONT SHIMS put you in the best riding position. This Center Elliptical Opening makes this the Coolest Pad for your horse & allows the Pad to move with the horse as the back shape changes.

Size Chart: 30/32 is for saddles with skirts 26" or shorter. The 32/34 is for saddles with skirts 27" or longer. The full 32" works great for 26" to 28" skirt saddles. It's the most universal & popular size.
